What is a security grade?
A security guard is an employee who watches and guards the employer’s buildings or premises.
The security guard is a vital part of any company’s infrastructure. They are required to watch and patrol for intruders, but their job doesn’t stop there! The ultimate goal as an employee should be the prevention of crime on or near your employer’s property; this includes all areas within eyesight that could potentially become hazardous if not monitored closely by staff members at all times.
Why does a security system need a grade?
A security system without certification is like a car with no powertrain. It can’t compete on equal footing and fight for users in the mass market, so every professional solution needs it! Property insurers require that manufacturers are certified before they sell their products; this means there’s even more demand from customers seeking high-quality protection against man made disasters such as fires or burglaries.

What are Grades and why is it so important for a security system to have them?
An outside security guard who patrols your building or facility is considered to be unlicensed. If the security company provides armed guards, they are required to have a license and must be accompanied by at least one unarmed security officer.
The reason companies require security grades and levels is because it allows for uniformity of employees. It also ensures that all staff members work in accordance with the same level of performance and quality as mandated by state laws and regulations that many states put into place requiring certain criteria to meet before you can work as a security guard.
What factors determine what grade your business should get?
All employers need to take into account their particular needs, including the size of their facilities, any valuable equipment or merchandise on hand, client records (if the company deals with any), and whether or not customers and employees will be in the building during certain hours.
When hiring a security provider, you need to make sure that they offer exactly what you’re looking for. If you have a business that deals with high-end equipment, expensive merchandise, or client records, then chances are it deserves a Grade One rating.
Likewise, if your company handles large amounts of cash on a regular basis, carries sensitive computer data, or is open 24 hours a day/7 days a week, then you should consider at least one unarmed guard who has been trained in self-defense strategies and emergency response procedures.
What's this got to do with me? How can I benefit from an official security grading?
It’s not just about having your own home or house broken into; your insurer won’t cover you if burglars manage to get into your house through an insecure window or door. The safety of your possessions and, more importantly, yourself and your loved ones is at stake.
The labels on security products tell you how good they are, so you can make informed decisions about the best way to protect your home. You don’t need to be a security expert to understand what they mean.

What is the difference between grades?
There are four grades in the security industry, with each one containing different levels of protection for your business.
Grade 1. Grade One is the highest level of security and is recommended for businesses that have a high value of merchandise, computer data, or clientele. The requirements for Grade One usually mandate that security officers be licensed, have at least two years of experience, and must pass a comprehensive training program that focuses on criminal law, investigative procedures, and first-aid/CPR certification.
Grade 2. Grade Two is recommended for businesses who have valuable equipment or merchandise on-site but don’t meet the criteria of a Grade One company. Officers working at this level are usually required to have a year of experience and pass a basic training program that includes criminal law, investigative procedures, and first-aid/CPR.
Grade 3. Grade Three is geared towards businesses that need basic security measures in place but don’t qualify for a Grade One or Two rating. Officers are required to have six months of experience, pass a training program that includes criminal law, investigative procedures, and first-aid/CPR certification.
Grade 4. Grade Four companies are recommended when the business only needs unarmed guards protecting their property at night when no one is on-site. Unarmed guards usually work in pairs, which means they have four total employees in your company. Only state laws can dictate how long an unarmed guard has to be employed before they become certified. They are required to pass a training course that covers criminal law

Hybrid securities are a great way to invest in assets that have both debt and equity characteristics. Hybrids often combine the best qualities from each class, which can help you achieve your financial goals faster than investing with just one type of product like stocks or bonds alone!
Grade 3 systems are designed to combat burglars and attackers with advanced knowledge, tools, equipment (including portal electronic devices). The system is comprehensive; it protects all potential entry points of your building. Homes in high-risk areas like commercial properties can get protection from these products as well!
This training program will introduce new officers to the private security industry and help them understand what is expected of them, including upholding laws as law enforcement officials.
A Grade C’s main function is to provide access control of a higher risk area and supervision for lower grade security officers.
